Introduction

This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, organized by The Ark Foundation, aims to equip pharmaceutical, medical and allied healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage and support survivors of gender-based violence (GBV). The training will focus on interdisciplinary approaches, highlighting the crucial role of healthcare providers in delivering trauma-informed care, coordinating with social, legal and allied services to ensure holistic support for survivors. By fostering a collaborative approach, participants will be empowered to address the medical, psychological, and social needs of survivors, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and well-being.
